1970s – 1980s: The Advisory Foundation
Entering the Financial services industry in 1974, Michael laid his foundations as a financial advisor and manager. He built a stellar reputation as a top-producing independent planner at a leading broker-dealer where he was recognized as Financial Planner of the Year, and earned honors in employee benefit sales, serving institutional clients such as Kentucky Bankers Association, Kentucky Auto Dealers Association, Associated Industries of Kentucky, as well as several other industry associations. With a passion for business, he twice represented Kentucky at the White House Conference for Small Business.
1990s – 2005: Scaling to Institutional Heights
Shifting to institutional wholesaling, Michael excelled at building relationships and growing the business. He scaled a $26M six-state territory to $100M across seven counties, securing multiple Wholesaler of the Year designations from prominent client firms.
2006 – Present: Coaching & Speaking Legacy
Michael turned his expertise into a coaching and consulting mission, advising independent financial advisory firms, Broker-Dealers & RIA’s, investment wholesaling companies, and service-minded companies on creating exponential business growth, and successions, and mergers. Mike has been the personal business coach for the #1 advisor at six firms. He brings a variety of resources and assets to the table for his clients, including being an independent Kolbe Certified™ Consultant, using Kolbe Wisdom™ to help his clients produce more effective results more efficiently.
